SUMMARY:TLSM PAHANG PROVIDER COURSE
DESCRIPTION:Management of trauma related conditions often involve a multidisciplinary team. Situation can be increasingly complex and challenging\, especially in poly-trauma cases. It require fundamental understanding of the biomechanism of trauma as well as specific knowledge and skills. Teaching of systematic approach to trauma case management is a crucial training for medical staff from various disciplines who are directly involved in handling of these cases. Hands-on skill teaching has been proven to improve confidence and strengthen the understanding of theoretical knowledge. TLSM 2025 is an advanced trauma life support course organised by Emergency & trauma department of Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan (HTAA) in collaboration with International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) and Kuantan Pahang Emergency & Trauma Society (KUETS). \nThis is a structured teaching course on the systematic approach of trauma management. Participant will benefit from the in-depth dissection on trauma related conditions\, as well as the various hands-on modules available. Our course is aimed at providing high quality training on trauma management to trainers to train providers of trauma care. We hope to collectively improve the quality of trauma case management within the region
