The Malaysian Trauma Registry (MTR), upholding national and international security standards, is committed to collecting and analyzing trauma data that drives continuous quality improvement across healthcare services.
The Malaysian Trauma Registry Collaborators Conference 2025 (MTRCC 25) brings together experts, stakeholders, and practitioners with a shared goal—to elevate trauma care through a robust and standardized national clinical database. The mission and vision are clear: to provide high-quality, comprehensive data collection and reporting that inform research, policy, and clinical advancements in trauma care.

Conference Objectives & Goals

  • Enhance clinical trauma care quality through standardized data collection
  • Create a dynamic platform for local and regional research collaboration
  • Leverage data insights to shape evidence-based trauma care policies and practices
  • Inspire innovation through data-centric discussions and knowledge sharing

Preconference Workshops
As part of the lead-up to the main conference, three focused workshops are designed to support trauma registry development, data quality, and research skills:

  1. MTR Inaugural Report Writing Workshops (Ongoing since April 2025 – By invitation only)
    A collaborative, hands-on series dedicated to drafting the MTR inaugural report, emphasizing clarity, clinical relevance, and cross-institutional insights.
  2. Data Entry and AIS Coding Workshop (2nd September 2025)
    Designed for new data entry personnels, this workshop offers practical training on accurate data entry and Abbreviated Injury Scale (AIS) coding to enhance registry standardization.
  3. Statistical Analysis and Critical Appraisal Workshop (2nd September 2025)
    Aimed at clinicians and researchers, this session focuses on key statistical methods using R coding and critical appraisal techniques to strengthen evidence-based trauma research.

Poster Presentation
Do you have game-changing insights or innovative findings in emergency trauma care? Submit your poster presentation and extra points will be added to your group during MTR Challenge!
Selected posters will be showcased and evaluated by renowned statisticians and emergency consultants, with all submissions standing a chance to be considered for publication in Malaysian Journal of Emergency Medicine (MJEM).
