2024 MASCOT President Message

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

It is with great warmth and enthusiasm that I extend my greetings to each of you. As we turn the page to a new year, I am ever grateful for the privilege to connect with you through our shared commitment to trauma care and education.

The past year has been a momentous one for us at MASCOT. We celebrated remarkable achievements, including the successful collaboration with International partners and local experts from various medical fields, which underscored our dedication to holistic and multi-disciplinary approaches in trauma care.

Challenges were no stranger to us, especially in the face of the ongoing pandemic. We met these with resilience and innovation, ensuring our operations and initiatives continued to support our community’s needs. I am immensely thankful to each member of our community for their unwavering support, without which our progress would not have been possible.

Looking ahead, we remain steadfast in our mission to provide high-quality, affordable education and training. This year, we aim to enhance the Trauma Life Support Malaysia Courses (TLSM), Malaysian Trauma Registry Collaborators Conference (MTRCC) 2024 and re introduce highly anticipated initiatives such as the Malaysian Trauma Conference (MTC 2024), and various workshops that promise to elevate our standards of trauma care.

We are thrilled to announce the opportunities that lay ahead, particularly the potential to expand the TLSM to other countries, setting a new benchmark for international collaboration and knowledge-sharing.

I urge you all to get involved and actively participate in the transformative journey we are embarking on. Your engagement and contributions are the lifeblood of our organization, driving us closer to our collective goals.
