Management of trauma related conditions often involve a multidisciplinary team. Situation can be increasingly complex and challenging, especially in poly-trauma cases. It require fundamental understanding of the biomechanism of trauma as well as specific knowledge and skills. Teaching of systematic approach to trauma case management is a crucial training for medical staff from various disciplines who are directly involved in handling of these cases. Hands-on skill teaching has been proven to improve confidence and strengthen the understanding of theoretical knowledge. TLSM 2025 is an advanced trauma life support course organised by Emergency & trauma department of Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan (HTAA) in collaboration with International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) and Kuantan Pahang Emergency & Trauma Society (KUETS).
This is a structured teaching course on the systematic approach of trauma management. Participant will benefit from the in-depth dissection on trauma related conditions, as well as the various hands-on modules available. Our course is aimed at providing high quality training on trauma management to trainers to train providers of trauma care.
